    This module provides two basic functionalities as follows -

    1. Add Version – Add specific language version on “n” number of items by single click.

  • Sitecore Lucene Search filtering with Predicate Builder

    Lucene still powers a lot of searches on websites. Sometimes these are simple, but others can get more complex. In one of our more recent complex examples, we have  multiple groups of checkboxes, and in each group a user can select multiple values. Making it even more complex, the condition between those values should be OR and between groups condition should be AND. We decided a predicate builder was the way to do this.

  • Sitecore Package Installation

    A Fix For When The Sitecore Package Installation Never Finishes

    I installed 8.x version of Sitecore and after installation I started installing a content package on same instance. Package size was in kb as per my prior experience with package installation it should not take more then 3-4 minutes to install. But this time I am continuously seeing the package installation screen with progress bar running.

    Whenever we start any new project we tend to write some Utilities class with frequently used methods like GetItem, EditItem, etc. and also, adding & retrieving query strings using UriBuilder/HttpUtility.ParseQueryString API. As we know, Sitecore uses query strings like sc_mode, sc_lang etc. This got me a thinking.. Sitecore should have come up with its own methods for adding & retrieving query strings.
